Horten HXc

The never build version of the HX

DO NOT FORGET THE LINKS AT THE RIGHT → → → →

The drawing here has NOT the right airfoil. Please, go see the known Horten-fan sites to get that data. I just made a "rough" sketch here.

The Horten HXc had the pilot running upwards like the modern SWIFT. A hatch in the cockpit top of a updated HXb design could make it possible too.

Here the pilot is in the open air. He only has a screen to avoid the wind in his eyes.

Sketch made by Reimar Horten (permission to use it by Al Bowers)

Al Bowers gave me this drawing of the glider made by Manfred Baum and Rolf Markman at the workshop of Bill Moyes. You can read the full story on that glider here.

HXc look-a-like built by Bill Moyes.
